Whale Watching

Recently, we were able to go whale watching when we visited Canada. I have always wanted to do that!
Whales are fascinating marine mammals known for their size, intelligence, and complex behaviors. Here are some interesting facts about them and you:
There are about 90 species of whales, divided into two main groups: baleen whales and toothed whales.
The blue whale is the largest animal on Earth, reaching lengths of up to 100 feet (30 meters) and weights of around 200 tons.
Whales communicate using a variety of sounds, including songs that can travel long distances underwater. Humpback whales are particularly known for their complex songs.
They are mammals, but not like most mammals that walk on earth. Whales must come up out of the water to breathe air; they are not like other fish.
Most whales die because they drown. The whale is in the water, but not of it.
The whale needs a life source that is not in the water. They must come up out of the water for air and access to life.
Most of us are unaware of our spiritual needs. In this life you and I need God. We need to worship, sing, and pray, or we will drown.
We need to come up for air just like the whale. You and I are in this world but not of it.
“I have given them your word, and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.” – John 17:14
As believers you and I should try to live with intention, following the teachings of Jesus, while we live with the world around us.
