The Unexpected Book

Good morning!

Writing a book or blog was never even a thought in my wheelhouse. My favorite place is outside, enjoying nature, not typing on a computer. Writing is something I would never have chosen for myself.

When my kids were young, that little voice I heard in my heart wanted me to write a book. I took a class, mailed the finished product to a publisher, and was rejected. At the time, I was a single mom working full-time while raising three kids.

I set the envelope on a shelf and told God, if you want me to write, you are going to have to teach me how first.

When my youngest excuse was going to graduate from High School, my life situation was different. That little voice again began prompting me to write a book. So, I finally said, “Ok God, I’m in. Let’s do it.”

I had no idea what was ahead, and it’s probably a good thing I didn’t. The expense and investment to get a book published and printed are never discussed, which includes mental, physical, spiritual, monetary funds, and time.

-Sign in to your Amazon account.

-Search for the author's name or the book title.

-Scroll down to the customer reviews section.

-Look for the “write a customer review” button.

-Select a star rating.

-Enter your thoughts in the text box provided.

-Click submit.
