Smiling at Squirrels
Last week I had a meeting at church. It was a weekday morning, and the parking lot was almost empty of cars. Walking towards my vehicle, a friendly little squirrel was watching me as he sat eating the nut in his hands.
The squirrel wasn’t afraid when he saw me, so I talked to him as I stood directly in front of him. He tilted his head sideways, listened for a bit, and then slowly scampered away, not in any big hurry, towards the trees.
Thinking about the little squirrel still makes me smile. I love nature and everything it has to offer.
I don’t believe in coincidence. I think the Almighty Creator made that little squirrel and placed him right there for me to enjoy and bless my day.

This week, be in awe of God’s love and presence in his glorious creation of nature.
Blessings,
