Learning by Watching

We have three beautiful granddaughters. The two older ones are two years old. Both of them love to help me feed my horse, Bandy.

I have never explained to the girls that this is how we need to do chores. I just kind of roll with it while going through the motions, and they follow along. Both of them have the routine down pat.

Now, they run ahead of me to get the feed pan out and make sure it is clean before we dump new feed into it. They watch everything I do and repeat what I say.

It amazes me that they are so young yet learn so quickly by only watching.

I think this is so true of everything we do in life. Remember, someone is always watching what you do.

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

Always try to do the right thing. If you mess up, because you will, we all will, apologize to the people you need to and ask for forgiveness. Then move on, continually learning.
